Marriage preparation
Every year a Marriage Preparation Course is held for couples getting married in the Pastoral Area of St Robert's, St Bede's, St Michael's and St Joseph's. The course is run by Marriage Care and organised by the Pastoral Area.
The day starts with coffee after Sunday Mass and consists of a morning session, buffet lunch, an afternoon session and a final blessing at about 4.30pm.
The couples normally arrive full of apprehension but leave having enjoyed a rewarding experience.

Contact Margaret Green or Poly Nicolson to get the names of the team on on the rota for your wedding date.

Contact the team at least 4 weeks before your wedding to discuss your arrangements.
The cost will be £65 (includes £60 for flowers and £5 for oasis), and gives you a display of four arrangements:

One large pedestal

One large arrangement beneath the altar table

A medium sized display in front of the lectern

A small arrangement on the altar table
The flower teams supply all the greenery and their labour free of charge. However, if you prefer, you can use a florist or do your own flowers, but in this case, please notify Margaret or Polly to avoid any confusion.
