Confirmation
Sacramental preparation for confirmation in St. Robert’s is done by young people for young people. Youth-to-youth ministry is fundamental to everything we do.
A group of catechists, young and less young, meet together to pray and to prepare to lead groups in weekly sessions. These sessions include games, talking, breaking of the word, prayer, music and a lot of laughter. The programme runs every 1-2 years.
The programme is for all young people who are Y8 or above who are looking to deepen their faith and explore what it means to become a committed member of the church. There is no pressure to be confirmed if you feel you are not ready to take this important step, but you are welcome to come and join in the evening sessions. The next programme will begin in September 2005.
